Francois is the manager of the World Bank office in Bucharest. François Rantrua has an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School, a program financed by the World Bank, and an MBA from Hautes Etudes commerciales (Groupe HEC - ISA) in Paris, France specializing in international corporate finance.
Prior to his position as the manager of the office in Bucharest he was the manager of the World Bank office in Mauritania and Lead Corporate Strategy Officer of the World Bank in Washington, chief of operational staff for a number of development programs between 1994 and 2003. Previously, he was CFO and program manager at IGN International (subsidiary of the French National Institute of Geography), technical assistant, lecturer and teacher of mathematics.
François Rantrua is also the Chairman of the B-Sharp (Building and Sharing Partnerships - www.bsharponline.com), an international non profit association for development of information systems applications.
